Sungshin Women's University operates a number of facilities for the greater welfare and comfort of the students, Such facilities include the university retreat center, "Nan-Hyang Won (The Orchid Fragrance Garden)"; an Exhibition Center where students can enjoy a number of exhibitions; a Music Appreciation Auditorium; and the "Nanchobang" store, which features a wide selection of books, an optician center, and stationery shop. Other facilities include a photocopying center, a specialty coffee shop, and an arts store.
   
 

 

The University maintains an auditorium to encourage students to cultivate themselves through listening to music. The auditorium, located on the first floor of Sujung Building, can seat 100 students and is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Students can enjoy a wide selection of music, from classical music to popular music, not to mention playing DVDs, during those operating hours.
 
   
 

 

There are three dining areas on campus : the Main Student Dining Room, the Auxiliary Student Dining Room, and the Faculty Dining Room. They all provide a variety of nutritious foods at a reasonable price.
 
   
 

 

For the students' convenience, the University Student Welfare Commission operates "Nanchobang", a multi-purpose store located on the first floor of the Sujung Building. Nanchobang consists of a book store, an optician center, and a stationery store that supplies high quality goods at lower-than-retail competitive prices. Also available on the first floor of the Soojung Building are conveniently cooked foods, soft drinks, confectioneries, and other supplements. In addition, the Cafe Nan-Hyang and a takeout coffee specialty shop are also available facilities. The Commission uses the proceeds for fellowships and other student facilities.
 
   
 

 

"Nan-Hyang Won"(Orchid Fragrance Garden) is university retreats located in the woods at the foot of Mt.Dobong. The retreats are furnished with all the facilities necessary to accommodate 200 students at a time. They are used for students' group activities to develop strong leadership and warm friendship. The retreats also provide fine opportunities for fellowship between professors and students. Students usually enjoy their stay at the retreats which purifies their minds and enables them to engage each other in deep reflections in the quiet atmosphere of nature.
 
   
 

 

A state-of-the-art IT system has been implemented to provide an ideal IT educational environment. This includes an IT practice center for computer education and training, as well as open rooms for individual study. Furthermore, the high speed network links all computers on campus : professor's offices, department offices, and the IT practice center ; enabling students and staff to access all information relevant to school life through the internet.
