Sungshin Women’s University Welcomes High-Level Delegation from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan

On March 31, 2025, Sungshin Women’s University hosted a high-level delegation from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan at the Woonjung Green Campus to discuss the establishment of new scholarship opportunities for Uzbek students, and promoting academic and faculty exchange with Karakalpak State University, particularly in the field of Korean language education.

The delegation included the Chair of the Social and Cultural Committee of the Supreme Council, the Chief Secretary of the Cabinet, the President of Karakalpak State University, a Counselor from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Korea, and the Director of the Migration Agency of Karakalpakstan.

Representing Sungshin were President Sung Keun Yi, Director of International Affairs Hyung Min Lee, a professor from the Department of International Studies, staff from the Institute of International Education, and members of the International Affairs and Services Team, including Il Kim and Hyunkyung Jung.
