Sungshin Women’s University Offers Career Day for International Students in Collaboration with Seoul Global Center
On April 30th, Sungshin Women’s University held a specialized career and employment strategy session for international students at its Sujeong campus. The event, organized in collaboration with the Seoul Global Center, aimed to equip international students with practical information to help them settle in Korean society and pursue long-term residency.

The session included practical topics such as:
Career preparation strategies for international students in Korea
Self-awareness and identifying job market trends
Enhancing competitiveness through effective experience management
The training was available both in-person and online (via Zoom), making it accessible to international students from various countries.
Government's Push for Long-Term Settlement of International Students
In line with South Korea’s recent government policies encouraging long-term settlement for international students, Sungshin Women’s University is committed to offering not just academic and living support, but also career guidance and settlement assistance. The university holds the highest "Suu Certification University" from the Ministry of Education's Internationalization Capacity Certification Program.

Expanding Educational Opportunities for International Students
Currently, Sungshin Women’s University hosts over 1,100 international students from 42 countries. Starting from the 2025 academic year, the university will launch a new international division offering majors such as Global Korean Studies, K-Culture & Entertainment, and Beauty & Fashion Design, further expanding its foundation for developing global talent.
