University Fair in Vietnam and Myanmar to Enhance International Exchange and Student Recruitmen

Sungshin Women’s University recently completed a strategic overseas mission to Vietnam and Myanmar from July 5 to July 15, 2025, aimed at expanding international student recruitment and strengthening partnerships with local institutions and agencies.

The university members from Office of International and External Affairs, participated in multiple academic fairs and institutional meetings across Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Hanoi in Vietnam and Yangon in Myanmar.

Key activities included:

Participation in the 2025 Korea Study Abroad Fair

Hosted by Nhat Phong Agency in Ho Chi Minh City, where Sungshin Women’s University attracted over 80 students, including significant interest in its undergraduate and language programs.

Sungshin Women's University Admissions Fair

Held in collaboration with multiple local agencies in 6 different seminars, over 450 attendees participated in the event. In Myanmar seminar a student presentation by a current Sungshin student from Myanmar was also held.

Institutional visits and cooperation meetings

With colleges and NGOs including Van Lang Saigon College, Asia Cultural Exchange Foundation, and Hanoi Polytechnic College Discussions explored joint education programs, student transfers.

The visit laid a strong foundation for expanding academic and institutional networks in Vietnam and Myanmar. Sungshin Women’s University expects more active exchange activities with both countries in the future.
