Sungshin Women’s University Expands Global International Student Recruitment Channels in Nepal and Bangladesh

Sungshin Women’s University successfully conducted an overseas recruitment mission to Nepal and Bangladesh from May 2 to May 8, 2026. The mission aimed to attract talented international students for the 2026 academic year, conduct face to face admission interviews, and establish sustainable educational networks in the South Asian market.
The University delegation carried out a comprehensive itinerary in Kathmandu, Nepal, and Dhaka, Bangladesh. The delegation conducted extensive student interviews, delivered promotional briefings at a local high school, and established collaborative partnerships with prominent study abroad agencies.

The university delegation conducted interviews with over 60 prospective students and engaged in strategic market research and networking with local study abroad agencies to solidify recruitment plans.
A key highlight of the mission in Bangladesh was the institutional outreach to Milestone College, a well-established private high school in Dhaka founded in 2002. The delegation held exchange discussions with Vice Principal Iftekhar Hossain and Director of Academic Affairs Mohammed Jafar to discuss pathways for recruiting exceptional Bangladeshi students.

Additionally, the delegation visited three English-track classes to deliver direct institutional briefings to students. The sessions introduced Sungshin's curriculum, customized international student scholarships, safe dormitory facilities, and post-graduation employment opportunities in Korea.
