Texas A&M International University Delegation Visits Sungshin Women’s University to Strengthen Academic Partnership

On June 30, 2026, representatives from Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) visited Sungshin Women’s University to discuss ongoing academic cooperation and explore opportunities to further strengthen the partnership between the two institutions.

The visit took place at Woonjung Green Campus and included Yamel Muzquiz, Director, and Raquel Alvarez-Urriti, Associate Director, representing international affairs at Texas A&M International University. They were welcomed by officials from the International Affairs and Services Team at Sungshin Women’s University.

During the meeting, both institutions provided updates on their respective universities and exchanged views on key areas of mutual interest. In particular, the two sides reviewed the current status of their institutional partnership and discussed ways to further advance academic and student exchanges.

The discussion also addressed matters related to student exchange opportunities, with both institutions sharing perspectives on the current exchange framework and considering possibilities for its future development. Through these discussions, the two sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to providing students with broader international learning experiences and promoting continued academic engagement.

As part of the visit, the TAMIU delegation toured Woonjung Green Campus, gaining a closer understanding of Sungshin Women’s University’s academic environment and campus facilities. The campus tour provided an additional opportunity to enhance mutual understanding and reinforce the ties between the two institutions.

Furthermore, both sides exchanged views on maintaining close communication and pursuing continued cooperation across areas of shared interest. The visit served as a valuable occasion to review the progress of the existing partnership while identifying potential directions for future collaboration.
