Le Havre Normandy University Representative Visits Sungshin Women’s University to Discuss Global Cooperation

On July 2, 2026, Professor Miran Kang from Le Havre Normandy University, France, visited Sungshin Women’s University to discuss opportunities for strengthening academic cooperation and advancing collaborative global initiatives between the two institutions.

The meeting took place at Woonjung Green Campus and was attended by representatives from Sungshin Women’s University, including Professor Uiseok Han from the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy, Professor Mikyung Jang from the International School of Korean Culture and Technology, Il Kim, Head of the International Affairs and Services Team, and Hyunkyung Jeong from the International Affairs and Services Team.

During the meeting, representatives from both universities exchanged views on a range of topics related to international academic cooperation and future global initiatives. In particular, the discussion focused on strengthening the existing relationship between the two institutions and exploring potential areas for further collaboration.

The two sides also discussed opportunities related to degree programs, sharing perspectives on possible frameworks for expanding academic cooperation and providing students with broader international learning opportunities. Furthermore, both institutions explored potential directions for jointly advancing global initiatives and reaffirmed their mutual interest in developing a sustainable and productive partnership.

As part of the visit, Professor Kang toured Woonjung Green Campus, gaining a closer understanding of Sungshin Women’s University’s academic environment and campus facilities. Following the meeting and campus tour, representatives from both institutions continued their exchange over lunch, providing an additional opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding.

The visit served as a meaningful occasion to reinforce ties between Sungshin Women’s University and Le Havre Normandy University and to identify future directions for international collaboration.
