전복(戰服)

전복은 깃과 소매가 없는 옷으로 색상은 주로 남색, 옷감은 숙고사나 갑사와 같은 사종류의 옷감을 많이 사용한다. 돌이나 명절 때 두루마기 위에 덧입었으며, 붉은색의 띠를 전대처럼 매거나 수를 놓아 장식한 돌띠를 두르기도 한다.

A sleeveless coat without collars is usually dark blue. It is made from various silk materials such as sookgosa and gapsa. It is worn on top of durumagi(coat) on special ocassions or on birthdays. Red color or brocaded stripes are decorated in the waistband.
