❏ What is Sungshin Global Tutoring?

Program that gives opportunity to both Sungshin students and international students to share their language and culture together

❏ Eligibility for application

1) Sungshin undergraduate students (Korean+International students)

2) International students who were enrolled in the undergraduate program in Sungshin  

❏ Application Period : 2023.Sep.18.(Mon) ~ Sep.25.(Mon) **

❏ How to apply : Through Portal (통합정보→개인/민원→성신버디/튜터링→성신튜터링신청) 

1)Click [+새로작성] 

2 Choose the language: Choose the language that you want to teach to Korean student 

3) Write short intro+motivation (① Short essay / ② Current Korean level  / ③ Study Plan / ④ Team preference )

※ If you already have someone to study with, write her/his name and student number.

    You may also write your preferable partner ex: who is interested in ###, student who like ****

4) Language level : Select[한국어]  and choose your Korean level

5) Click [O신청] 

❏ Selection criteria: Order of submission of applications / Korean/foreign language level / Team matching in consideration of demand

※ Team matching is usually 1:1, but it may change to 2:1 depending on the situation.
※ You may not be able to participate due to the limited student number for the program.

❏ Team matching result : 2023.Sep.27.(Wed) Results will be announced to all applicants through Email

❏ Period of activity : 2023.Oct.10.(Tue) ~ Dec.15.(Fri) Total 10 weeks

❏ How to do activities

-Have online or offline meetings throughout the semester and exchange language and culture in a mutual way. 

(It needs to be studying, shopping or watching movies.. etc. won't be considered as an activity)

❏ Condition of completion

1) One day/ at least one hour of study for 10 weeks: ten times of study meetings during the period

2) At least 10 times and 10 hours

3) Online and Offline both will be accepted (both need photos and screenshots)

4) Must submit the final activity report within deadline, including photos and screenshots for the online meeting in the last week of the activity (2023 Dec 11~Dec 15)

   Only one of the members needs to submit it: Team member: Heidi and Yun >Either Heidi or Yun should submit the report through email at the end of the week (before Dec 18)

❏ Online Orientation

1) Date: 2023.Oct.04.(Wed) 15:00

2) Method: Online Zoom meeting (Link will be sent to your email)

❏ Support

1) Global Plus Scholarship for each participant 100,000KRW (both Sungshin students and international students)  

For International Student:: Make sure you put your account number on the Portal system when you open the bank account

2) Provide S+Mileage payment (does not apply to international students)
