Mainly committed to the fulfillment of justice, Department of Law strives to nurture professionals who will lead the future Korean society in all walks of life as law scholars, legal practitioners, public servants, and corporate executives among others led by the faculty, 500 or so enrolled students seriously and enthusiastically engage in the legal education and research. Especially, Law Studies Institute takes the lead in publishing collected research papers and holding seminars, lectures, international scholarly exchange etc. Thus, our department was recognized as an excellent university program in the 2000 national law college evaluation. Today, we need to work to harmonize the practical utility of the law studies, its interest in people, and its consideration for people to deliver love and intelligence. We should not only endless work on the exquisiteness of the traditional law studies, but also actively respond to changes and work in new and diverse-ranging intellectual pursuits with a view to upgrading the capability for legal applications in international activities.
