The Central Library, located on Soojung Campus, was established at the same time as the university was founded in 1965, and in time for the 55th anniversary of its recent opening, the university invested 3 billion won in the Learning Commons System, a university innovation support project, to transform the library from a material-centered library to a user-centered library and a complex learning and cultural space where creativity and collaboration flourish.
We focused on creating a variety of spaces where creative ideas can be exchanged and synergized with each other. In addition to self-directed learning, we built spaces for interdisciplinary discussions and various forms of collaboration, as well as spaces where people can recharge through relaxation.
As a user-centered space with a new concept, we look forward to helping Sungshin members dream bigger in the new Central Library. The Central Library will continue to strive to provide specialized services to all members of Sungshin.
