Academics
Department of Sculpture of Sungshin Women's University builds on the theory courses such as Art History, Theory of Modern Art, Study of Artists, and seminars to help students understand the general concepts related sculpture from classics to today, and conducts field trips so that students can vividly experience modern-day art. The program offers broad-ranging practice courses to make sure that students acquire sufficient representational skills with regard to the traditional expression techniques such as wood, stone, ceramic, and steel and explore new contemporary representational languages by tapping into new media.
