한국어 실력을 보여주고 상금과 인턴십 기회를 얻을 수 있는 행사이니 관심 있는 유학생들의 많은 참여 바랍니다.

-한국어를 모국어로 하지 않는 재외동포

2026년 2월 26일 ~ 5월 7일

① 말하기 (Speaking)

자유 주제 또는 지정 주제

형식 선택

롱폼: 2분 ~ 3분 30초

숏폼: 1분 이내

② 발음 챌린지 (Pronunciation)

제시된 한국어 문장을 1분 이내로 읽는 영상 제작

1. 영상 제작 후 SNS 업로드

YouTube / TikTok / Instagram / Facebook / Bilibili 중 1곳

📢 2026 Korean Language Speaking Contest for International Students

The Korea Times will host the 3rd Korean Language Speaking Contest for foreigners.
International students who are interested in showcasing their Korean language skills are encouraged to participate.

■ Eligibility

-Foreign nationals

-Overseas Koreans who are not native Korean speakers

■ Application Period

February 26 – May 7, 2026

■ Announcement of Winners

May 26, 2026
(Winners will be announced in The Korea Times newspaper and website)

■ Award Ceremony

 

June 4, 2026 (Tentative)

■ Competition Categories

① Speaking

Choose one topic: free topic or designated topic

Format options

Long-form: 2 minutes – 3 minutes 30 seconds

Short-form: under 1 minute

② Pronunciation Challenge

Record a video reading the provided Korean text within 1 minute

1. Upload your video to one of the following platforms:
