In our daily life, no acts are unrelated to economy, so understanding economic theory is indispensable to study the neighboring disciplines such as business studies, political science, study of law, study of history, home economics, and geography. As witness the gradual complication and globalization of economic acts in person and social domains, it is truly important to be able to learn the basic principles of economics and apply them creatively to the changing reality. The educational goal of our Department of Economics is to ensure that students acquire the ability to objectively and accurately analysis of the economic reality, by providing balanced teaching in the basics and applications of economics. As part of such effort, we are broadening the horizons of the pragmatic knowledge in economics by providing linked majors such as international commerce, finance, and tax administration.
