Sungshin Women’s University Strengthens Institutional Ties and Academic Initiatives During Official Visit to China

From April 8 to 12, 2025, Sungshin Women’s University carried out an official visit to China to expand institutional partnerships, launch new academic programs, and participate in academic seminars.

The Sungshin delegation was led by President Sung Keun Yi and included Director of International Affairs Hyung Min Lee, the Head and staff of the International Affairs and Services Team, as well as faculty members from the Department of Biofood Engineering, Graduate School, Department of Statistics, and Department of Mathematical Statistics and Data Science.

Key activities during the visit included:

• Attending the joint lab plaque unveiling ceremony and academic seminar at the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences.
• Discussing a new 1+3 undergraduate transfer program and dual degree cooperation with Hebei University of Science and Technology, along with holding a short-term study program information session.
• Exploring future collaboration with Shijiazhuang Huadu Image Art School.
• Participating in an academic seminar and institutional exchange talks at Hebei Finance University.

This visit further solidified Sungshin’s commitment to global engagement and laid the foundation for multiple new academic collaborations and student mobility programs in China.
